How do I play?
One rule: tap any two pups, and they warm each other up. Keep your score climbing. When the board fills, the game closes gently and invites you to try again — no fail screen shouting at you.
How do I put my own pet on the tiles?
On the title screen, choose "use your own pup instead" and pick a photo. It works with any animal, not just dogs. The photo is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded.
My pet looks cut off, or the background didn't come out cleanly.
The background removal works best with a clear, well-lit photo of a single animal, with your pet not touching the edge of the frame. Try a photo where your pet is the obvious subject and has a little space around it.
Are my photos saved or uploaded?
No. Your photos never leave your device, and the app doesn't save them either — they're only held in memory while Pup Pop is open and are gone when you close it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
What does the one-time purchase unlock?
Using a single photo on every tile is free. The one-time purchase unlocks the multi-photo modes — mixing several of your own photos, and unlocking a new set as you play. It's a single purchase, not a subscription.
I already bought it, but it shows as locked (new phone, reinstall, etc.).
Open About Pup Pop from the title screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used to buy it. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so they carry across devices.
When do I meet more pups?
As your score climbs you'll meet AJ at 25, Alex at 50, Gracie Mae at 75, and Piper Bo at 100. After 125 you can mix all the pups together.
What is "The Circle"?
It's a real, shared count of everyone who has installed Pup Pop — no login, no leaderboard, nothing personal attached. If the number ever stops updating, the counter service may be temporarily unreachable; the game itself is unaffected.
How do I delete my data?
Everything Pup Pop keeps (your best score and a couple of small settings) lives only on your device. Deleting the app removes all of it.
